About FAMB:
The Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers was founded in 1960 and presently
has 4,000 members and 14 chapters located statewide.
Membership: When you become a member of our
association, you automatically receive membership in the National Association
of Mortgage Brokers. In addition, you may join a chapter of your choice.
Chapter information and locations are shown on the Chapter Icon. We provide
benefits and discounts as part of our membership package. Refer to the
membership icon for more details.
Convention and Tradeshows: FAMB hosts one of
the nation’s largest state mortgage convention and tradeshow. The
annual convention information is located under the convention icon. Exhibitor
information is located under the tradeshow icon. Each chapter also hosts
local tradeshows. Their schedules are posted annually. Chapter tradeshows
commence in January of each year.
Education: The
FAMB Foundation provides consumer and continuing education programs.
Each chapter sponsors continuing education throughout the year. Professional,
Originator and Affiliate members receive free chapter education and pay
$12.00 for the cost of materials. Supporter members receive a 50% discount
off the non-member price of $20.00 per credit hour. We also provide on-line
education.
